Bright Eyes

L - R: Maybelline Color Show, Rimmel London Scandaleyes, Wet n Wild Mega Liner, NYX Xtreme Studio Liner and Collection Extreme Felt Liner.

Spring is the perfect time to bust out the coloured liners, so I thought I would show you a couple in my collection that I am quite smitten with. I have always been a bit hesitant with wearing bright eyes, but this year I opened up my mind (and my eyeballs) and started using them. Now, you can expect me to be wearing one of these at least once a week/fortnight!

Inspiration from Pinterest

I am still learning on how to use all of them properly, and where on the eye certain colours look best. I think blue looks particularly good with brown eyes (like I have) and the purple felt tip liner by Collection Extreme can show up almost black so it’s a great one to ease you into coloured liners.

From left to right:

Maybelline Color Show in Coralista (RRP $6.95)

Rimmel London Scandaleyes in Golden (RRP $9.95)

Wet N Wild Mega Liner in Green (RRP $8.50)

NYX Xtreme Studio Liner in Extreme Blue (RRP $13.95)

Collection Extreme Felt Liner in Purple (RRP 2.99 GBP)

Teal is a good spring colour all round I think! I have one I got in a Bellabox but it’s a bit smudgy for my liking :( Teal is cool but not as panda eyes :P

I’m a huge fan of a bit of purple on the lower lash line but I have to admit that’s as far as I venture :P

Purple would look amazing with your eyes too Sarah :) I’d love to get my hands on a Lime Crime white eyeliner for fun too :)

YES! I’m all about coloured eyeliner, yay! So glad you’re finding inspiration in bright and colourful things :) I love using them as eyeshadow bases too. I usually apply them along my lower lash line or heavily into the crease, blend out quickly and set with pretty colours. Yay for spring! <3

I didn’t even think of using them as a base for eyeshadow! Thank you for the idea!!! :)
