The Lipstick Game - Week 7
Almost 2 months have passed and I have made a pretty sizeable dent in my collection! I apologise for the lack of posts this past week, I’ve been preparing for a new job so I’ve been flat out!
Day 40 - Australias Pout Paste Love Bites
This liquid lipstick is a great pigmented, highly moisturising lip colour. It’s also vegan friendly, which is great to see.
Day 41 - Face of Australia Lip Quench Cocoa Cherry
This lipstick is very moisturising and can be applied lightly (shown above) for a more natural look, and then very heavily for a Barrymore-esque brown lipstick colour.
Day 42 - Bourjois Lip Crayon Peach on the Beach
One of my favourite coral lip colours, it’s the perfect light apricot shade. I felt super springy and happy this day so it fit perfectly! So uplifting and very moisturising.
Day 43 - Revlon Laquer Balm Whimsical
This is my first of the lacquer balms and it’s a great purply-fuschia colour. I love the slight glitteryness to this as well, which doesn’t make you look like a discoball, but still gives that cheeky sparkle.
Day 44 - ModelCo Lip & Cheek Tint
I’m not a huge fan of ModelCo (for those of you who saw the debacle on Kitsch Snitch’s blog will understand) but this lip and cheek tint is quite nice. I used up my bene-tint, so this version will suffice until I use it up, and I will repurchase bene-tint.
Day 45 - MAC Crosswires
One of my favourite MAC Lipsticks, Crosswires is like the perfect 60s lip for me. It really reminds me of Joan from Mad Men, and I needed to look the part today - got my professional face on
Day 46 - Nyx Xtreme Lipgloss La-La
As you know, I am not a huge fan of lipglosses, and this is one I bought years ago. It’s quite nice, non-sticky and smells slightly of cherry medicine.
Hope you enjoyed this week’s lipstick game! I am not sure how many more weeks I will have of this, maybe at least two (which works out well, a nice round 10 haha)
Stay Minty!
