Top 5 Drugstore Orange Lipsticks

Hey Ya’ll, it’s been a while since I’ve done a ‘Top 5′ post, so I thought I would do one of my favourite lip colours, orange! The only ‘high end’ orange lipsticks I have are from the MAC Editorial Orange lip palette, so these are drugstore lip products only :)

From left to right.

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Pink Sizzle. Check out the full review here. This is my absolute FAVOURITE coral lipstick. It’s more of a pinkier coral, but I think it is still orange toned enough to warrant a spot in my Top 5.

Revlon in Orange Flip. This is the creamiest most beautiful true orange. It’s super bright and is a great alternative to a red lip. The only downside to this lipstick is the ‘old makeup’ smell.

Maybelline Color Whispers in Orange Attitude. If you are tentative to jump into the orange lip trend, this is a pretty good place to start. This is a lovely light nectarine coloured lip. Not a great deal of colour pay off, but good for a subtle look.

Maybelline Color Sensational Vivids in Vibrant Mandarin. This can look a little bit like a very warm red, but to me it is still more orange than red.

L’Oreal Colour Riche Caresse Wet Shine Stain in Princess. This is the only stain in my Top 5. It’s a another great subtle colour on it’s on, or layered over the top of another orange lip shade to lengthen your wear.

How do you feel about the orange lip trend?

Stay Minty!

  1. The Revlon ‘Orange Flip’ looks mighty scary lol! I like the others though.
I’m not really into oranges/reds (unless it’s a burgundy type of red) as they just don’t suit me too well.
    I stick mainly to pinks/purples.

    • It’s Spring here in Australia at the moment, but I do love wearing an orange lip in Autumn as well! Stands out in a see of burgundy dark lips too! :)
