October // New on the Desk

It’s that time again to see what’s new on my desk for October! This is a big mixture of things I’ve bought myself, a gift from family, a competition gift voucher I won and PR Samples (which will be marked accordingly). As always, you can expect to see these new products popping up with full reviews and other assorted posts over the next month. If there is something you are particularly interested in, let me know and I will make sure I pay special attention to it!

First up is the cutest things that travelled all the way back from UK from my Ma and Pa! They got me these adorable teas from England and I am in love with how cute they are! They both had an amazing time overseas, travelling through the UK, France and topped it off with a cruise around the Mediterranean. I’m lime green jello!

Next is some Halloween goodies! I bought these off eBay for about $8.00 each so I can be extra gruesome this Halloween!

Here is my Halloween creation! Little Dead Riding Hood. I had lots of fun :)

A couple of makeup products from Priceline when I cashed in some of my voucher Sister points, and 75% of these are repurchases! Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge (RRP $15.99), Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer in Fair (RRP $18.95), Maybelline Master Precise Liquid Liner (RRP $13.95) and Maybelline Brow Drama Sculpting Brow Mascara in Dark Brown (RRP $12.95).

I also picked up some amazing pieces from MU Australia that I’ve been eyeing off. Expect to see some reviews and these products popping up in posts over the next month or so! First up is the Tokyo Milk Dark Lip Balm in Coco Noir (RRP $13.00) which is one of the most decadent lip balms I’ve ever used! It’s such a dark, woody scent with dark rum, maraschino cherry, sweet milk and cacao bean. Delicious! Next, the Tokyo Milk Cosmetic Bag (RRP $24.95) was way too adorable for me to pass up. Octopuses are so fascinating to me, and it makes for such a conversational piece. It’s a pretty good size too, so it will fit in all the essentials when I make my travels round the world next year. I also received a Badger Sleep Balm Sample (Full Size RRP $12.95) which I’ve been using the last couple of nights to try and it’s so lovely! It doesn’t really make you sleepy as such, but it helps clear your mind of thoughts and focus you on relaxation. It contains such lovely essential oils as rosemary, bergamot, ginger, balsam fir and lavender.

These cute black caviar beads by Rock n Roll are from KMart surprisingly enough, and cost around $2. I wore these a few weekends ago on an accent nail and I really loved the effect! Another purchase from MU Australia  is the Badger Cuticle Care (RRP $12.95) in my attempt to make my nails a bit prettier this summer. A little of this goes a long way, and smells strongly of ginger and lemongrass (which I happen to love!) and makes cuticles super soft and nourished. The RevitaNail Sensitive Nail Strengthener in Pink (RRP $19.95) is a lovely way to paint your nails with a strengthener while adding a touch of pink as well. Great for the lazy (heyo!). Lastly, Revitanail Conditioning Remover Wipes (RRP $5.99) which is another shameless lazy purchase. I barely use other nail polish removers unless I need something really strong.

Last, but certainly not least, is Bespoque Skn care designed by you* (RRP $39.00-$65.00) which I designed specifically for my skin type! Pretty cool eh? Expect a review of this one up next week!
